How the Specialist Program Works

Apply

Fill out a single-page application telling us about your background, experience with small businesses, and motivation for joining the program. There are no fees and no commitments at this stage.

Our team reviews every application within 3–5 business days. We evaluate technical aptitude, business acumen, communication skills, and local market opportunity.

Time: 15 minutes to apply, 3–5 days for review

Get Approved

If approved, you'll receive an email with access to the Specialist portal, your certification training plan, and the Specialist Agreement to review and sign. You'll also get a sandbox sparQ instance to practice with.

Your role starts as "Specialist Pending" — you have full access to training content and your portal, but you can't provision client instances yet. That unlocks after certification.

Certify

Certification has three modules:

• Module 1: Platform Mastery — Learn every sparQ feature. 60-question exam, pass at 80%.
• Module 2: Trades Fundamentals — Understand HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and cleaning businesses. 40-question exam, pass at 75%.
• Module 3: Business Development — Master the sales process. Submit a recorded 15-minute demo for review.

All training content is public and free. You study at your own pace. Most people complete certification in 2–4 weeks.

Time: 2–4 weeks, self-paced

Launch

After certification, your role upgrades to "Specialist" and you get access to cloud.sparqone.com — your business operations dashboard. From here you can provision new client instances, manage your portfolio, track commissions, and open support tickets.

For your first client, we schedule a co-sell call where a sparQ team member joins your sales conversation. We walk you through the 72-hour onboarding checklist and make sure everything goes smoothly.

Grow

Each client you deploy earns you $99/month in recurring commission. As you grow, you unlock tier upgrades, directory listings, and eventually T3 trainer status where you mentor other Specialists and earn override commissions.

sparQ provides ongoing sales materials, product updates, and co-sell support. You focus on building relationships and serving your local market.

At 85 clients: $100K+/year in recurring revenue
